Search warrants lead to arrest, narcotics seized

Apr. 2—MOSES LAKE — Several federal search warrants were served March 30 in the greater Moses Lake area by the Moses Lake Police Street Crimes Unit Detectives who also serve as Task Force Officers for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

The search warrants had to go with an ongoing investigation into Greg Wilson for methamphetamine and fentanyl sales, along with unlawful possession of firearms, according to a statement from MLPD.

During the search, detectives discovered around 1.4 pounds of methamphetamine, 9.5 ounces of fentanyl powder and 1,533 fentanyl pills.

Wilson was booked into the Spokane County Jail on his federal drug charges as well as unlawful firearm possession charges from an incident in 2023, according to the statement. Wilson is being prosecuted by the United States Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Washington.
