INDIANA, Pa. – A pedestrian hit last Tuesday by a truck in Indiana Borough died Saturday in the intensive care unit of Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
Loretta Reeger, 68, of Clarksburg, Indiana County, died of complications from massive blunt-force trauma, Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees said.
Her husband, John Reeger, 68, was also hit in the accident and died that day at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, previous news reports said.
The Reegers were using a crosswalk on Philadelphia Street at 9:18 a.m. Tuesday when they were hit by a box truck.
The manner of death has been ruled accidental, Lees said.
