‘Harry Potter’ Star Jessie Cave Joins OnlyFans to Post ‘Sensual’ Hair Videos; Lavender Brown Actor Wants to ‘Get Out of Debt’ and Fix Up Her Home

Jessie Cave, the actor who portrayed Lavender Brown in three “Harry Potter” movies, revealed across various social media profiles that is she starting an OnlyFans account for her hair. She said in an Instagram video that she will be offering subscribers “the best quality hair sounds” and “very sensual stuff.” Cave specified that she will not post sexual content to OnlyFans. Her videos will aim to appeal to those with hair fetishes.

“I am launching an OnlyFans, it’s not a sexual one,” Cave clarified on her “Before We Break Up Again” podcast (via Entertainment Weekly), noting that OnlyFans does not only feature sexual content despite being best associated with such fare. “It’s a fetish. Fetish doesn’t necessarily mean sexual.”

On her self-titled Substack, Brown went into further detail about her decision to join OnlyFans by writing: “One year. I’ll try for one year. My aim? To get the house safe, cover the arsenic/lead wallpaper, build a new roof etc. My aim? To get out of debt. My aim? To empower myself? To prove to those in the past who have misjudged me that I’m not so sweet? To put time into something I never invested in before: self-love.”

“Were my years of Harry Potter conventions in fact research?” she added. “[It feels] like I’m doing something naughty, something a little fucked up. I like that. Ripping up the good little actress rule book.”

Cave debuted as Lavender Brown in 2009’s “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” and reprised the role in both “Deathly Hallows” movies. While she is best known for her work in the “Harry Potter” movies, Cave has also appeared in films such as “Great Expectations” and on television series like “Black Mirror” and “Industry.” She voiced Lavender Brown in two “Harry Potter” video games.

OnlyFans has become a popular social media platform for actors in recent years. Singer-songwriter Lily Allen revealed last year that the OnlyFans account she started where she posts pictures of her feet makes her more money than her Spotify music streams.

“Imagine being an artist and having nearly eight million monthly listeners on Spotify but earning more money from having 1,000 people subscribe to pictures of your feet,” she wrote on X at the time. “Don’t hate the player, hate the game.”

“The Sopranos” Emmy winner Drea de Matteo also revealed last year that she was able to prevent her home from going into foreclosure by starting an OnlyFans account when her acting career stalled.

“It saved us,” De Matteo told DailyMail.com at the time. “OnlyFans saved my life, 100 percent. I can’t believe I’m saying that, but it really did save us. Anybody that wants to condemn me and put me down, go for it. I just hope you never find yourself in the position I was in to take care of two little kids. It saved my home of many years that was very important to us. And beyond all that, it has given me enough money to start up and finance Ultrafree.”
