The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced that maintenance crews are scheduled to perform bridge sweeping next week on Interstate 78 and Interstate 81 in Lebanon County.
Work will be performed at various locations on I-78 and I-81 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, March 17, through Friday, March 21, according to PennDOT officials.
"Motorists are advised that they may encounter single-lane traffic restrictions in the vicinity of the sweeping operations," officials said in a release Wednesday, March 12. "They are asked to be alert, to slow down – for their safety as well as for the safety of the maintenance crews - when approaching and traveling through the work areas."
