Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially unveiled the July 2026 games catalog expansion for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. This month’s update leans heavily into genre variety, offering players a curated mix of extraterrestrial exploration, intense undead survival, and a highly anticipated blast from the past. Headlining the mid-summer update are Ubisoft’s open-world adventure Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Techland’s definitive parkour-survival hit Dying Light, and the beloved 2004 cult classic Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy.

Leading the modern selection is Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, which allows players to explore the visually stunning Western Frontier of Pandora as a Na'vi. The game leverages the hardware power of the PlayStation 5 to deliver lush, sprawling environments and vertical exploration. Joining it in the "Extra" tier is Dying Light, a title that revolutionized the zombie genre with its seamless first-person parkour mechanics and tense day-and-night cycles. "The inclusion of these high-caliber titles highlights our commitment to delivering diverse, blockbuster experiences to our library," says a PlayStation licensing representative. The title's resurrection on modern hardware serves as a major win for video game preservation and nostalgia.
